can we say that all capital goods are final goods
please reply soon

Final goods are classified into two categories i.e consumption goods and capital goods. Take the example of a machine. If machine is purchased by household it is consumption good(final good) and if by a firm for further use then a capital good(final good). however, if it is purchased by the firm for firther resale purpose then it is classified into the intermediate good category.

no all capital goods are not final goods it depends on their use.for ex car purchased by taxi driver is final good but same car bought by retailer for again a sale purpose then it is not a final good.

My friend, I'd rather say all capital goods are final goods but not all final goods are capital goods. This is because capital goods includes machinery (which is a final good) and which is not meant for resale.

My friend, I'd rather say all capital goods are final goods but not all final goods are capital goods. This is because capital goods do not undergo any further transformation and is used the way it is. For instance, machinery, machines are not converted into any other material and is not put up for sale.
