Can we write q= - 1.6*10^-19
Why when we solve numerical we don't put (-) before 1.6*10^-19 why Q is always given positive in questions.??

Dear student,
The nature of charge depends upon the sign indicates with its value so, q is not always negative iy can be both positive and negative.
For example :- q=-1.6x10^(-19) for electron and q=1.6x10^(-19) for proton.

Hope this information will clear your doubts about topic
