Dear student,
Since, the average age of a class of 35 students is 14 years.
 
Thus, the total sum of the age of students = 35 × 14 = 490,
 
Now, after increasing the average age by one years,
 
New average age of the class ( included teacher ) = 14 + 1 = 15 years,
 
While the number of persons = 35 students + 1 teacher
 
= 36 persons,
 
Thus, the total sum of the age of class ( included teacher ) = 15 × 36 = 540.
 
Hence, the age of teacher = Total sum of the age of class ( included teacher )  - Total sum of the ages of students
 
= 540 - 490
 
= 50 years.
