can you please explain the true or false again?

Hi!
Here is the answer to your query.

(i) The opposite angles of a square are complementary angles.
(ii) Two obtuse angles can be supplementary angles.

(i) Each angle of a square is a right angle. Sum of two opposite angles = 90° + 90°= 180°. The opposite angles of the square are supplementary. Therefore, the statement “The opposite angles of a square are complementary angles”is false.

(ii) The measure of an obtuse angle is greater than 90°. Therefore, the sum of the measures of two obtuse angles is greater than 180°. Two angles are supplementary if their sum is 180⁰. Therefore, the statement “Two obtuse angles can be supplementary angles” is false.

Cheers!

HI,

ANS 1] FALSE, BECAUSE THE SQUARE'S OPPOSITE ANGLE  MEASURES 90.+90.=180. ,THE COMPLEMENT SHOULD BE 90,BUT OVER HERE THE SUM MEASURES 180.

ANS 2] FALSE, BECAUSE THE TWO OBTUSE ANGLE WILL MEASURE MORE THAN 180 .EXAMPLE 160 + 160 = 320.

I HOPE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND BY MY EXPLANATION.
