Can you please send the solution of attached Question no 50

Dear Student,

P - The Golgi apparatus consists of a system of membrane-bound vesicles arranged approximately parallel to each other in stacks called cisterns. These membranes have connections with the membranes of ER(endoplasmic reticulum) and the material synthesised near the ER is packaged and dispatched to various targets inside and outside the cell through the Golgi apparatus. Its functions include the storage, modification and packaging of products in vesicles.

Q - Endoplasmic reticulum, or ER, is an interconnected network of membranous structures like tubules, vesicles, and cisternae Cisternae are the flattened disk-like membranous structures. Tubules are tubular in shape, while vesicles are sac-like structures.

Now,
i) Proteins are synthesised on rough endoplasmic reticulum - Therefore, it a false statement.
ii) ER is not involved in secretion of mucus etc - Therefore, it also a false statement
iv) Acrosome is formed by Golgi -  it also a false statement
v) It also a false statement - as golgi is not involved in maintaining skeletal structure of the cell

iii) Golgi aparatus - it helps in storage of secretory product - it a true statement
vi) ER forms a continuous channel from nucleus - it also a true statement

Therefore, incorrect statements are - 1,2, 4 and 5 - Option A is correct.
