Cananyone say why we use a fire tong or tweezers although we do not get any mechanical advantages from them?

There are definite advantages when it comes to the two and that is why they are still in use. Fire tongs are generally used to hold extremely hot objects that cannot be held by bare hands while tweezers are used to grip and pick up smaller objects which cannot be grasped by bare hands.
