Solve the following numerical problems.

1. The hinge of a door is 2 m from the point of application of force. If a force of 60 N acts on it, calculate the moment of force.

2. Determine the force applied on an object producing a moment of force of 20 N m such that the perpendicular distance between the point of application of force and the turning point is 60 cm.

3. If a body weighs 50 N, and it is placed on the ground on its surface having area
2 m^2, find the pressure (in Pa) exerted by the body on the ground

4. Calculate the force which will exert a pressure of 100 Pa on an area of 5 m.

5. If the area of surface in contact is 10 cm2, calculate the force which will exert a pressure of 10,000 Pa.

6. A brick is 50 cm long, 25 cm wide and 10 cm thick. Its weight is 25 N. If it is placed on the ground with its face 25 cm x 10 cm in contact with the ground, find the pressure exerted by it on the ground.
