Chapter: The ant and the cricket
  1. When the Cricket realizes that he has nothing to eat in the season of Winter, he says, “Oh what will become of me?” What do you think about his attitude? Elaborate what all the people he represents should be doing instead of saying “Oh what will become of me?”

Dear student,

The cricket was an irresponsible and lazy creature who did not plan ahead of winters and later cried over spilt milk without doing any hard work. He just wondered what will happen to him but did not make efforts to save for the future.

The people that he represents should plan for the future and contingencies well in advance. Time is precious and it should not be wasted in just enjoying the present moment or worrying about the future without making any efforts to make it better.

Regards
