Characteristics of Mr.anagnos briefly (300-350 words).

Mr. Michael Anagnos was the director of the Perkins Institution for the Blind in Boston during Helens formative years. He was the one who had found Miss Sullivan as a teacher and companion for Helen.

After Helen had joined the Perkins Institution, he became a good friend of hers. Helen dedicated things she wrote to him during those years. However, a breach in their friendship came with The Frost King episode. After Helen was accused of plagiarism for her story, he terminated their friendship. Even though he had known her for years, he failed to understand that Helen had not intentionally copied the story in order to please him. Later, however, after the publication ofThe Story of My Life,Mr. Anagnos wrote to the editor claiming that he had been a supporter of Helen during her investigation and trial. The friendship, however, was never restored.

Nonetheless, during the times when they were close friends, he had helped Helen in all possible ways, encouraging her and providing her with books in raised prints.

Mr. anagnos was the director of perkins institution for blind in boston. He was a very amiable ,friendly, warm and helpful person. when helen's father wrote a letter to mr. anagnos after dr. alexander graham bell's suggestion seeking help in his daughter's case, mr. anagnos was kind enough to reply quickly. this shows his concern for others and his willingness to provide help where ever possible.he even took the trouble to arrange far a teacher for little helen his choice of anne sullivan is helen's teacher was perfect as was seen from the progress helen made with miss sillivan's guidance

mr. anagnos was extremely fond of helen and loved her a lot. even helen respected is daughterly affection so much that when she wrote her first story "the frost king/" , she gifted it to mr anagnos on his birthday. mr anagnos was delighted with the story and published it in one of the perkin's institrution reports. thoughe he loved helen but he lacked trust on her.when helen was charged with plagiarism , mr anagnos initially seemed to believe helen , he later suspected that miss sullivan and helen had knowingly copied the story of another author and forced these on him to win his admiration . he felt cheated and hurt and didn't cared for helen's pleadings of love and innocence. nothing was proved against helen and things returned to normal. however, helen was so hurt and humiliated that she felt her relationship with mr. anagnos would not be the same again.
