Check whether 6ncan end with the digit 0 for any natural numbern.

Dear Student,

Please find below the solution to the asked query:

To check whether ' 6 n ' gives end ( units ) digit is ' 0 '  at n = Any natural numbers ,

we know natural numbers : 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , . . .

So,

n  = 1 , 2 , 3 , 4  . . .

And we know 6 = 2 × 3

And we know 2 × 5 = 10

So when ' n '  is multiple of ' 5 '  . We get ' 6 n ' end digit is ' 0 ' .

At n  = 5 , 1 0, 15 , 20 , . . .

As at n  = 5

6 n  =  6 × 5 =  30   , Here end digit is ' 0 ' .

Or at n  = 10

6 n  =  6 × 10 =  60   , Here end digit is ' 0 ' .

Therefore,

Yes , ' 6 n '  can give end digit ' 0 '  at n  = 5 , 1 0, 15 , 20 , . . .  .                              ( Ans )

Yes, 6n can end with the digit zero, for n = any natural number
As we know,
6 x 5 = 30
6 x 10 = 60
So, 6n will end with the digit zero for, n being any multiple of 5 or 10.

Hope this helps :)
  • -6
6^1 = 6
 6² = 36
 6³ = 216
 6^4 = 1296
 6^n can not end with 0 as the number always end with 6 only
