(1). LHS = 3y - 2x

 = 9 - 8

 = 1= RHS

Since LHS = RHS, so (4, 3) is a solution of the given equation.

(2). LHS = 3y - 2x 

 = 3 × 3√2 - 2 × 2√2  [x = 2√2 ; y = 3√2]

 = 9√2 - 4√2

 = 5√2 ≠ RHS

Since LHS ≠ RHS, so (2√2, 3√2) is not a solution of the given equation.
