Chemical test to distinguish between ferric sulphate in ferric chloride

Dear Student,

Add Barium Chloride (BaCl2) to each of the test tube. 

FeSO4 + BaCl -       Formation of precipitation 
The above reaction is precipitation reaction where the white ppt of BaSO4 is formed during the reaction.

FeCl2 + BaCl -       No precipitation 

Thus, the solutions can be distinguished.
