Classify the organisms in an ecosystem as per the manner in which they obtain their sustenance from the environment.

Organisms are classified in an ecosystem as per the manner in which they obtain their sustenance from the environment into Producer, Consumer and Decomposer.

1. Producer - Producers are those green plant which can prepare their own food with the help of light energy from sun, carbondioxide from air and water from soil. The food produced is in the form of glucose or any other form of sugar. E.g- Green plants and blue green algae.
