Comment on the title of essay'The ghat of the only world.

Dear Student,
Word 'Ghat' in Hindi signifies 'bank' of a stream or a river; the title of the chapter connotes the edge of life, where Shahid was battling for life. Attributable to his harmful malignant tumour, he was going to leave this world and start a puzzling excursion into the obscure world that exists in the afterlife. Since the word 'Ghat' alludes to the verge of our reality, which is the main world known to us, so the title is legitimized.

The appartment in which Shahid live , overlooks the east river It also had a wave of Manhatten Skyline brooklyn water front slipped into the east river like the steps of a ghat lending to a river .This view was called a Ghat by Shahid . Many of his fairwell points contained the line 'I dream I am the Ghat of the only world .Being at Ghat meaned that he was slipping a way to word death .' In "The Ghat of the only world",Shahid's condition in which he is captured in the situation of his approaching death is compared with the 'ghat' where he finds himself at the edge as until he is connected to land he is in contact with the sphere of life and as he dives in the water he just enters the another world of death and afterlife.
