compare and contrast characters of mr and mrs crocker harris

Andrew Crocker-Harris was a schoolmaster in an English public school. Dubbed as 'the Crock' by his pupils, he had the reputations of giving grades that were neither more or less that they deserved to students. This was unusual during a time when teachers were becoming less authorial and more approachable with students. He was emotionally repressed and did not care much about currying favours with students. His wife, Millie Crocker-Harris was unfaithful to him, she detested his professional and their marital failures, indulging in an affair with Frank Hunter, the young new teacher.
