COMPARE AND CONTRAST MULK RAJ ANAND'S THE LOST CHILD AND KABULIWALA BY RABINDRANATH TAGORE BASED ON THEIR THEMES

Dear Student

Both "The Lost Child and "Kabuliwala" are tales of human relationships and the effect of time on human emotions. The Lost Child loses interest in things he wanted earlier because he is panicking. The similar impact of time is shown in Kabuliwala. The imprisonment changes thing so much that when he return from the prison it becomes difficult for him to adjust in the society. He finds it hard to talk to the girl who bride-to-be. The things that lured her 8 years ago and made her laugh may not be effective today. The lost child also forgets about everything and wants to get back to his parents. He realises that the human relations are far more important than the materialistic things like toys.

We hope that this answer solves your query.
Regards.
