compare isothermal and adiabatic process?

Difference between isothermal and adiabatic process:
Iso-thermal process Adiabatic process
1. There is an exchange of heat between the system and the outside environment. 1. There is no exchange of heat between the system and the outside environment.
2. The temperature of the system remains constant throughout the process. 2. The heat content of the system remains constant throughout the process.
3. Isothermal processes are in general slow processes. 3. Adiabatic processes are in general fast processes.
