During the rig veda age,The women enjoyed a lot of respect.They participated in various activities.But later during the other vedic ages,women did not enjoy much freedom.There was a ritual which was called "Sati",in which widows had to set themselves on fire as their husband's have died.
But in today's world the position of women has improved.They can work and love life on their terms.Women can get educated.But even today women are suffflering a lot as they have to. face other dangers.The crimes against women have increased.
I hope I'm future there is a time where women can live with peace of mind.
