Therefore, safeguarding the environment is an important issue not only for any particular region but for the whole world.
For example, if CO2 is emitted from factories located in a particular country only, but this CO2 will cause global warming and will affect the entire world, particularly Antarctica and low lying nations. So, the consequences of environmental degradation are not bound by boundaries.
