construct a triangle ABC whose perimeter is 14cm and sides are in the ratio of 2:3:4 .

Perimeter = 14cm
Let the 3 sides of the Triangle be 2x, 3x and 4x
14 = 2x + 3x + 4x
14 = 9x
  x  = 14 / 9
Therfore, x = 1.5cm
2(1.5) = 3.0cm
3(1.5) = 4.5cm
4(1.5) = 6.0cm
Now you have the length of the sides:
AB = 3.0cm
BC = 4.5cm
CA = 6.0cm

simple

perimeter ot a tri. = sum of all sides

let the 3 sides of the tri. be 2a 3a nd 4a

therefore, ATP

14=2a+3a+4a

14=9a

a=14/9

a=1.555555....

a=1.6 (rounding the decimal nearest to ones)

therefore the 3 sides are 2*1.6, 3*1.6 nd 4*1.6 = 3.2,  4.8 nd 6.4

now u hav the measurement of the sides so u can construct the triangles accordind to the above found lengths

i hope it answers it :)

one mistake so sorry

plz donot take it as 1.6 it will remain as1.5 (no rounding of)

so the actual sides are 3, 4.5 nd 6

every procedure remains the sme only changes wid numericals

so sorry
