construct a triangle whose sides measure 4.5 centimetre, 5 centimetre and 5.3 centimetre , bisect the largest angle

Dear Student,

Please find below the solution to the asked query:

We follow these steps :

Step 1 : Draw a line AB  =  5 cm

Step 2 : Take radius of 4.5 cm and center " A "  draw an arc . With radius of 5.3 cm and center " B "  draw an arc that intersect previous arc at " C "  .

Step 3 : Join AC and BC .

Here we can see that biggest angle = BAC . So to bisect BAC we follow these steps :

Step 4 : Take any radius ( Less than half of AB )  and center " A " draw an arc that intersect AB at " P "  and AC at " Q " .

Step 5 : With radius PQ and center " P " draw an arc . With same radius and center " Q "  draw an arc that intersect previous arc at " R "  .

Step 6 : Join AR and extend it so that line intersect line BC at " S " .

So,

BAS =  CAS =  BAC2

Line AS bisect biggest BAC  .
