Convert the following dialogue in Indirect Speech by using appropriate reporting verb.

d. "Hello Aditya. Have a seat, won't you?" Mr. Bhat said. 
"Thank you, sir," Adtiya replied. "I'm sorry I'm a bit late, but the traffic was dreadful." 
"Don't worry Aditya, it's not important," Mr. Bhat said. 
"You see, I finally made up my mind last night to give you Arvind Joshi's job, since he's retiring." 
"That's excellent news Mr. Bhat, and I give you my word I'll do my best to do a good job," Aditya replied. 
"Why don't you take your new contract home tonight and study it, Aditya?" 
Mr. Bhat said. 
(Hint: Mr. Bhat greeted Aditya and invited him to sit down........)

Mr.Bhat welcomed Aditya and asked him if he wouldn't have a seat. Aditya thanked him and apologised to him that he was a bit late as the traffic was dreadful. Mr.Bhat asked Aditya not to worry as it was not important. He said that he finally made up his mind the previous night to give him Arvind Joshi's job since he was retiring. Aditya exclaimed that that was an excellent news and promised him that he would do his best to do a good job. Mr.Bhat asked Aditya why don't he take his new contract home that night and study it.
