Genotype frequency of AA = 360/1000 = 0.36

Genotype frequency of aa = 160/1000 = 0.16

Genotype frequency of Aa = 2(240)/1000 = 0.48

Now, according  Hardy Weinberg equilibrium,

 

(A+a)2= AA+ 2Aa +aa

Thus, allele frequency of A = √0.36 = 0.6

Allele frequency of a = √0.16 = 0.4
