cot(3pi/4) can be written as cot(pi-pi/4) and acc to the formula
cot(pi-x)= -cot it should be -cot(pi/4)= -1

But when cot(3pi/4) is changed to cot(135)= cot(180-45) = cot 45 =
1

Sir i am confused which one is correct Please help

cot 3π4 = cotπ - π4 = - cotπ4 = - 1                              as, cotπ-θ = - cot θcot3π4 = cot 135° = cot180° - 45° = - cot 45° = -1    as, cot180°-θ = - cot θ
