Critical teperature for CO2 and CH4 are 31.1C and -81.9C respectively . Which of these has a stronger intermolecular force and why ??

Help me please

Critical temperatures it is defined as highest temperature at which a gas can be liquefied regardless of pressure. The stronger the intermolecular forces, the higher will be critical temperature.

You can guess as compound ahs stronger intermolecular forces, molecules need more K.E infusion from outside so that we can get molecules away from each other. So as forces increase, the critical temperature increases.

This shows that CO2 has higher intermolecular forces.
