crossing over of A & B blood group
You will read about this i your next class. For the time being, try to understand that blood group is a case of multiple alleles. It has three alleles IA , IB and IO/i
Genotype | Blood type |
I A I A | A |
I A I B | AB |
I A i | A |
I A I B | AB |
I B I B | B |
I B i | B |
i i | O |
So, If a person has blood group A, the genotype can be either I A I A or I A i and if a person has blood group B, the genotype can be either I B I B or I B i.
So, you can try to make a cross on yourself between these two on the basis of the above genotypic possibilities.
