Current that makes the heater element very hot but the connecting cables leading to heater are slightly warm? Please experts give specific reasons....

Due to high resistance of the heater coil the heat generated in the coil is more .But as the resistance of the cable used for connection is very low .So they do not get very warm when electric current is passed through them .
