Dear experts and friends,
I was just curious about something so I just wanted to ask a random question :)
Why do we say that we should switch on the geyser and warm up the water before taking a shower and when going to take the shower, we should switch off the geyser immediately before going in the shower as we could get electrocuted? (sorry for making the question so long xD) but I just wanted to ask that why is it possible that we MIGHT get electrocuted by going into the shower with the geyser ON?
Hope to get an answer soon!

Dear Student
It is possible that we MIGHT get electrocuted by going into the shower with the geyser ON if water heater has any faulty element/part that had split. which results leaking current into the water.  If the electricity is not isolated from the water that flows on your body when you shower.

So we should switch on the geyser and warm up the water before taking a shower and when going to take the shower, we should switch off the geyser immediately before going in the shower as we could get electrocuted.

Regards
