Dear experts,
Are the veins and arteries in the heart themselves connected to the aorta and vena cava?

Superior vena cava brings de-oxygenated blood from upper part of the body, which empties into the right atrium of the heart. The inferior vena cava brings de-oxygenated blood from lower part of the body, which also empties into the right atrium of the heart. The arteries and veins are connected to different chambers of heart as well as to aorta and vena cava which carries blood away and towards the heart.
