Dear Student, Harmful effects of global warming (with respect to desert animals): 1) Increased probability and intensity of droughts and heat waves:Although some areas of Earth will become wetter due to global warming, other areas will suffer serious droughts and heat waves. 2) Desertification:An increase in evapo-transpiration and the accompanying decrease in rainfall mean that already semi-arid and sub-humid areas found across the world would face a future barrenness that is almost irreversible. Due to these reasons animals are facing repercussions of global warming. Though, camels and other desert Flora and fauna have adapted to such climatic conditions but still due to such environmental situations their life/existence can become more critical.
