Dear experts,
I know this question has already been answered, but the answer that was given to me previously was not according to Chapter 4. Please answer this according to the incidents given in Chapter 4.
What different methods did the twins device to tease the ghost? Which traits of their character are highlighted by these improvisations?

Dear student

Here is the answer with respect to chapter four.

The twins were not content with tricking the ghost just once. Several times, the ghost found himself tripping over string that was stretched across the corridor. Once he even tripped and fell down the staircase after stepping on butter and slipped. When the ghost tried to frighten the twins by entering their room, he got drenched by a jug of water that had been placed atop the door. The ghost was so terrified of the twins that eventually, all they had to do was jump out of a dark corner shouting 'boo!', which sent the ghost fleeing in fright. For several nights after, the ghost did not appear. But the twins continued to set traps for the ghost by covering the corridors with nutshells.

This shows the resourcefulness of the twins. They did not use special ghost hunting gear. Rather, they used mundane household items in thwarting the ghost. Their traps are also quite creative and the incident with the water jug shows that the twins expected the ghost to attack, thus proving that they were also proactive.
