Dear Meritnation Experts,

I have a query concerning the subject Vedic Math in the topic 'Sqares and Cubes' and the semi topic 'cubes of two digit no.s'. The method given says that we first need to divide the greater no. by the smaller no. and then find the cube of the quotient and go on with a few following multiplications and additions. The example given in the vedio was 42. Now, according to the method, we'll first divide 4 by 2, which is 2, and then find its cube, which is 8 and then we would carry on with the following operations. Finally the cube of 42 would be obtained as 74088. Now consider the no. 63. According to the method, we'd divide 6 by 3, which would again be 2, and then find its cube which would again obveiously be 8. Now, if we carry on with the further listed operations, mathematically and logically we would land on the conclusion that the cube of 63 is 74088. So now, the final conclusion says that the cube of both, 42 and 63 is 74088.

Now the cubes of two no.s cannot be same, so tell whether I'm wrong or the Vedic Method.

Dear Student,

Currently we do not have ask and answer facility for Vedic Maths so if you have any other doubt do get back to us.
