defind its IUPAC properly with full explanation

Dear Student,

Whenever dealing with two aromatic compounds it have to be deal separately and combine at last for complete IUPAC name, in the given molecule first phenyl group contains functional group of  hence we start naming from right to left side for IUPAC naming.

In the right phenyl group the naming starts from alpha carbon hence the chloro is positioned at fourth position followed with keto in third position hence the naming is 4-chloro-3-ketophenyl and second group is bridged with caboxyl group and numbering starts from carboxyl group yielding the name of 4-chlorobenzoate.

The complete name is (4-chloro-3-ketophenyl)-4-chlorobenzoate.

Regards.
