define biosphere

 The biosphere is the global sum of all ecosystems. It can also be called the zone of life on Earth, a closed (apart from solar and cosmic radiation) and self-regulating system.

The regions of the surface and atmosphere of the earth or other planet occupied by living organisms. It comprises of atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere

 a narrow life supporting zone , formed due to interaction between hydrosphere, lithosphere,  & atmosphere.
