Objects in which there are unequal number of protons and electrons present are called charged objects. Positively charged objects are those which have more protons than electrons. Negatively charged objects are those which have more electrons than protons.

Charged objects are the ones which contain a charge i.e. it may be a positive or a negative charge. If the atoms lose their electrons, they become positively charged and when they gain electrons they become negatively charged. If the atoms have a charge, they are known as charged objects.
