 Self pollination: It occurs in bisexual flowers. It is of two types:

Cross pollination: It can occur in both unisexual and bisexual flowers.
In this type of pollination, pollen is transferred from the anther of one flower of one plant to stigma of another flower of another plant.

SELF POLLINATION; The transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma of a flower is called self pollination.

CROSS POLLINATION: The transfer of plooen grains from the anther of a flower to the stigma of another flower, of the same kind is called cross pollination.

If the pollen lands on stigma of the same flower, it is called self-pollination. 

Cross pollination

When the pollen of a flower lands on the stigma of another flower of the same plant, or that of a different plant of the same kind, it is called cross-pollination.
