Define Health."In India Health Condition is not adequate". Explain why?

According to WHO health refers to a state wherein an individual is in a state of complete well being in terms of physical, mental as well as social.
Despite a marked improvement in the health facilities in India, they are still not adequate. The following points justify the same:

- The number of hospital beds, doctors and nurses per thousand population is very less as per the international standards.
- The rural areas lack even the basic health facilities.
- The expenditure by the government on health care is not adequate as per the requirements.
- The investment in the health sector is not enough to meet the increasing needs.
