a) Conductor :
        A material or device that conducts  heat or electricity.

b) Insulator :
        A material or device that does not conduct heat or electricity.

c)Electric Cell:
     A device that is used to generate electricity,or one that is used to make chemical reaction possible by applying electricity

d) Electric Circuit :
       A path in which the electric current flows from the negative terminal to the positive terminal of an electric cell.

e)Closed Circuit :
      A circuit without interruption , providing a continuos path through which a current can flow. 

f) Open Circuit :
     A discontinuous circuit through which no current can flow.

g) Electric Switch :
      A electronic device for making or breaking or changing the connection in a circuit.
