Transportation is a life process where substances synthesized or absorbed in one part of the body are carried to other parts of the body .

Transportation is important in plants and animals as it leads to movement of nutrients, water, minerals, gases, etc. in their bodies which is essential for their survival and growth. It also transports waste material which is to be excreted out from the body.

Transportation in plants???

Here the answer goes:- Transportation in plants are done with the complex tissues like XYLEMand PHLOEM. Xylem helps in conduction of water and minerals from roots to other parts of plant where PHLOEM helps to conduct food from leaves to other parts of the body (tree). It is also known as Translocation.
