Vestibule Training- It is a method of providing off the job training. In this real work conditions are prepared by instructor to provide a duplicate work environment to trainees. This training is offered when a large number of employees are to be trained at a time like office assistants, typist etc. It focuses on learning new skills rather than doing actual job.
Apprenticeship Training- It a method of providing on the job training, here the trainee works under supervision of employer. This type of training is offered for jobs relating to computer operators, electricians, etc. This training is provided in order to acquire higher level of skills.
