deforestation leads to global warming.why?

deforestation lead to global warming because as we cut down tree in large scale gradually water holding capacity of ground also decrease and second reason is that production of oxygen also get decrease and production of carbondioxide increase.

HI HARSHIT,
GLOBAL WARMING IS CAUSED MAINLY DUE TO CARBON DIOXIDE WHICH IS A GREENHOUSE GAS SO IF TREES ARE THERE THEY WOULD ABSORB CARBON DIOXIDE WHICH WILL REDUCE GLOBAL WARMING. BUT DEFORESTATION IS DECREASES THE AMOUNT OF TREES SO IF TREES ARE NOT THERE TO ABSORB CARBON DIOXIDE GLOBAL WARMING WILL INCREASE
THANKS

Basic answer is this :

As we cut down the trees the amount of oxygen in atmosphere decrease because plants take in Co2 in and release O2 out. But here this thing do not take place because the trees are less and Co2 remains in the atmosphere which is a green house gas and is responsible for the heating up of earth which we called GLOBAL WARMING....If u need more information regarding earth than mail me

Deforestration leads to global warming because when we cut the trees the amout of CO2 increases and O2
decreases.so the temprature gets high. This leads to GLOBEL WARMING

Cutting of trees and plants is called as deforestion. When the plants and trees were being cut the trees cannot produce oxygen and the carbon dioxide level in the atmosphere will be increased. These leads to global warming.
