demonstrate an activity to show chemotropism in plants with a neat diagram

Dear Student.
Please find below the solution to the asked query.

The growth movement in plants in response to chemical stimuli is known as chemotropism. In otherwords, Chemotropism is the phenomenon where the movement of a plant or its part is caused in response to a chemical stimulus. For example, the growth of pollen tube towards the ovule in the ovary (through the stigma and style) is an example of positive chemotropism.

To show chemotropism., you can also take the plant with roots. Put some essential nutrients such as nitrogen, potassium on the side of plant roots,  at some distance away from the roots. Then observe the growth of plant roots. Plant roots will show the chemotropism and grow towards the essential nutrients .
