Derivation of Newton second law of motion ??

Dear Student,

Second law of motion:
Newton’s second law of motion states that
“The rate of change of momentum of the body is directly proportional to the applied force and takes place in the direction in which the force acts”
 Mathematically:

Where, P is the momentum of the body and is equ7al to the product of the mass and velocity of the body i.e.
Explanation:
It says that whenever there is time rate of change of the momentum of the body it is because of the force applied and the effect takes place in the direction of the applied force.
From here change in momentum will be, mv-mu
Hence,
So we get that the acceleration produced in a body is directly proportional to the force acting on it and inversely proportional to the mass of the body.

Hope, it helps you.
Best wishes!!

Regards..
