Derive the theory of Brewsters law on the basis of electromagnetic theory.

Dear Student,

Brewster law cannot be explained on the basis of electromagnetic theory.
Tho' Brewster Law states that the tangent of the polarising angle of incidence (i.e, the Brewster angle) of a transparent medium is equal to the refractive index of the medium.  

$\mu = \tan \left(i_p\right)$
where ip = polarizing angle of incidence
μ = refractive index of the transparent medium
