Describe any three features of Purvanchal Hills.
Mountains along the eastern boundary of India are called the Pruvanchal.
There are of medium height. Some of the important mountains of the Pruvanchal are :
1. The Patkai Bum and the Naga Hills in the north.
2. The Mizo Hills in the south.
3. The Jaintia, the Khasi and the Garo hills from east to west.
Features:
- They compress of sand stone and sediments
- They are covered with dence forest
- They comprises of Patkai hill Manipur hill etc...
