describe Dr.Andrew's Manson efforts to save the child and the mother?
When the baby was born the baby was lifeless... Andrew was in such a dilemma whether to resuscitate the child or save the mother whom he had obligation to.

he felt defeated bt he tried one more attempt and that was pumping the baby's little chest. he crushed and released the baby's chest and miraculously the little chest started to pound.
