Geoff is the elder brother to Sophie, who works as an apprentice mechanic. He is more realistic than Sophie and even warns her about her dreamy and wild fantasies. He speaks little but listens to her sister's stories.
Geoff considered Sophie young and mature, and was well versed with her fantasy world. Although Geoff did not believe what Sophie told him about Danny Casey. He was the first one to know about him. Sophie did not want anyone else to know about it but Geoff, because she knew he would listen to her. This was how Sophie confided in him, and hoped Geoff would do the same one day.
