describe regional continuity model and replacement model
Dear student,
a. There are two models which explains the evolution of human beings.
b. Regional continuity model explains regional variation in the evolution of human beings.
c. It explains how Homo sapiens evolved at different rates in different regions.
d. Thus, the appearance of first humans is different in different parts of the World.
Replacement model:
a. This model explains that human beings originated from a single region Africa, as the proof of early remains/fossils of modern human shave been found in Ethiopia.
b. According to this model, there is thus a similarity in human beings because of their common descent.
c. There is thus, a genetic homogeneity among human beings.
d. The differences in physical appearance is because human beings migrated and adapted themselves.
