Lencho was a very simple farmer, who was made his living from the harvest he made. However, when his crops failed due to the hailstorm, he did not lose his faith in God. Lencho's faith in God is reflected through his prayer to God. Lencho had faith in God but lacked faith in humanity. His faith in humanity was altered when he did not receive the exact amount of money that he asked God for. His act of writing a letter again is a proof that he was innocent at heart.
