The atmosphere is composed of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide as in general but there are many gases present in small amounts such as helium, neon, methane, krypton, etc. There are four layers mostly found in earth. Troposphere, Stratosphere, Thermosphere, exosphere in order. The significance of the atmosphere is to protect us from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun. Due to pollution the atmospheric layer is getting damaged and global warming is being caused.
